General Terms and Conditions of Sale
RESERVATION CONDITIONS
The reservation becomes effective only with the agreement of the Auberge la Plaine Hotel, upon receipt of the deposit, upon receipt of either the reservation contract duly completed and signed, or upon acceptance of the general conditions of sale through the online reservation. If we do not accept the contract within the mentioned deadline, the offer loses its validity. Minors must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians. The number of persons indicated in our prices and on the booking form corresponds to the maximum permitted occupancy, taking into account the equipment available. It cannot be exceeded for safety and insurance reasons.
RATES
Our prices include all taxes except tourist tax and extras. All our prices are quoted in euros, are valid for the current season and refer to one night. No refunds can be made for services not consumed as part of a package. The age of the children is calculated according to their birthday and the start date of the stay. An official document proving the age of the children may be requested at the beginning of the stay.
TERMS OF PAYMENT
Hotel Auberge de la Plaine reserves the right to request a deposit of 30% of the total amount of the stay at the time of booking. Upon receipt of the payment or upon receipt of your credit card number and expiry date, the reservation will be definitively confirmed. We accept payments by bank transfer, cheques and credit cards (Visa and Mastercard).
ARRIVAL
The rooms are available to the client from 5pm. In case of late arrival (after 8pm), the client must inform the Hotel Auberge la Plaine. No arrival is possible after 10 pm. Auberge la Plaine is free to refuse guests whose dress is indecent or careless, guests whose behaviour is noisy or improper, and guests whose behaviour is contrary to public morals and order.
DURING YOUR STAY
We advise you not to leave valuables in the accommodation and to lock the doors of the accommodation when you are away. We decline all responsibility for the theft or loss of your personal belongings within your accommodation at our hotel.
We ask you to respect the grounds, plantings and cleanliness of the hotel and not to touch the automatic sprinkler systems and exterior lighting. In the event of a problem, the customer will be held responsible. During your stay, you will be given a key that will allow you free access to your room; in case of loss, the repair will be charged at the current rate.
We remind you that since 2 January 2008 smoking is prohibited in all public places. In addition, for obvious reasons of safety and comfort, it is absolutely forbidden to smoke in the rooms.
The guest is obliged to follow the instructions, indications and orders of the Auberge la Plaine staff and management.
It is essential that children are supervised at all times, including on the playgrounds. Unaccompanied children are not allowed to visit the park or the swimming pool. Access to the river is the responsibility of each person, and for children, the responsibility of their parents. Swimming is unsupervised or even forbidden, it is done at the risk of our guests.
DEPARTURE
On the day of your departure, the rooms must be vacated by 10 am at the latest. You will be expected at the reception for the last formalities and the handing over of the keys.
An additional day may be charged at the current nightly rate for any late departure. Payment for all services must be made at the hotel reception at the time of departure. All services booked and ordered on site are due.
ANIMALS
Animals are allowed at an additional charge. All animals must be declared at the time of booking and approved by Hotel Auberge la Plaine.
In case of non-compliance with this rule, the hotel reserves the right to refuse guests. Animals must be supervised during their stay. Remember to check in advance if the local restaurant accepts your animal in the restaurant.
GIFT VOUCHERS
Gift vouchers are non-refundable and are valid for 1 year. They can be used according to our availability.
CANCELLATIONS AND CHANGES
Any cancellation or change to your stay must be notified to the Auberge la Plaine Hotel by letter or email.
- More than 3 days before arrival: no cancellation fee.
- Less than 3 days before arrival: the first night will be charged
- In case of no-show on the day of arrival, the total value of the stay is payable to the hotel as cancellation fee
- Special cancellation conditions apply for groups and seminars
Any desired change in the number of persons or family composition must be confirmed by our service at least 7 days before the date of arrival. If necessary, there may be an additional charge.
Any reduction in the length of stay is considered a partial cancellation and is subject to the cancellation policy. Any request to extend your stay will be executed according to availability and applicable rates.
UNUSED SERVICES
Late arrivals or early departures cannot be refunded under any circumstances.
CANCELLATION BY THE HOTEL AUBERGE LA PLAINE
In the event of cancellation by Hotel Auberge la Plaine, except in cases of force majeure, the stay will be fully refunded. However, this cancellation shall not give rise to any liability for damages.
INTERNAL REGULATIONS
Guests are required to abide by the guidelines laid down by the Hotel Auberge la Plaine in its house rules. Any stay implies acceptance of the specific conditions and house rules of the hotel. In the event of non-compliance with the internal regulations, the Hotel Auberge la Plaine reserves the right to expel guests from the premises without reimbursement of the services booked.

Any complaint relating to a stay must be sent by registered letter within 30 days of the stay to the following address:

Reception and secretariat are open every day from 8am to noon and from 3pm to 8pm.
Contact us by mail or leave a message on the answering machine any other times.
The rooms are ready to be occupied from 5pm. Please contact us if you reach the hotel after 8pm.
